Welcome to the Fantasy Sports Finland service. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") define the legal terms for using the Tapiola Sports website and services. By using our service, you accept these terms in their entirety. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our service.
1. Definitions
"Service" means the Fantasy Sports Finland website, mobile application, and all related services for fantasy sports enthusiasts.
"User" or "you" means the person who uses the Service.
"We", "our", or "Tapiola Sports" means Tapiola Sports Oy, a Finnish company that maintains the Service.
2. Service Usage
2.1 Age Restriction
The Service is only permitted for individuals who are at least 18 years old. By registering for the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.
2.2 Registration
Using certain parts of the Service requires registration. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and to update this information as necessary for your fantasy sports activities.
2.3 User Account and Password
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect any security breach of your account.
3. Fantasy Sports Competitions
3.1 Competition Rules
Each fantasy sports competition is governed by its own rules, which are available with the competition details. By participating in a competition, you accept its rules for fantasy football, basketball, and other sports leagues.
3.2 Scoring
Tapiola Sports strives to ensure the accuracy of scoring, but we do not guarantee that scores are always error-free. We reserve the right to correct erroneous scores at any time based on official sports statistics.
3.3 Prizes
Prizes are awarded according to the competition rules. We reserve the right to modify prizes or cancel competitions if necessary due to technical issues or other circumstances.
4. Fees and Charges
4.1 Free and Premium Services
Some parts of the Service are available for free, while other features may require payment. Premium services and their prices are clearly indicated before purchase of any fantasy sports subscription package.
4.2 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and online payments. All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment processors.
4.3 Refunds
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis according to our refund policy. Generally, we do not offer refunds for digital services that have already been used, including fantasy sports league entries and premium subscriptions.
5. User Content
You may submit or publish content on the Service, such as comments, profile information, or messages ("User Content"). By doing so, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, and share User Content for the purpose of providing and marketing the Service, including fantasy sports leagues and discussions.
6. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Service for:
- Illegal activities or promoting illegal activities
- Harassing or threatening other users
- Spreading false or misleading information about fantasy sports or other topics
- Disrupting or damaging the Service operation
- Unauthorized access to parts of the Service
- Sending spam or unwanted material to other fantasy sports enthusiasts
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights related to the Service, including copyrights, trademarks, service marks, trade names, software, images, and content, are owned by Tapiola Sports Oy or its licensors. No part of the Service may be copied, reproduced, modified, published, downloaded, sent, or shared without the prior written consent of Tapiola Sports Oy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind. Tapiola Sports does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free for fantasy sports activities.
Tapiola Sports shall not under any circumstances be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to fantasy sports league participation.
9. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland. All disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved primarily through negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be finally resolved in the District Court of Helsinki.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when they are published on the Service. By continuing to use the Service after the publication of changes, you accept the modified Terms for all fantasy sports activities.
